I am interested in feeding fodder to my sheep. I have about 100 ewes.
Does anyone know of somebody that is feeding quite a few sheep that would be willing talk to me about their experiences.
Thanks

I did not get your private message. Is it sent as an email to me? My email address is thomaswhite@me.com. Or are private messages somewhere on this board and I just don't know where to look?
Thanks,

Hi, I also have sheep and would like to try fodder but am having trouble finding seed in PA. Would anyone know of a place that might carry it? Also, would there be someone who might be able to give us the do's and don'ts? Am thinking of growing in unfinished basement where enviro controls are available. Currently have an aquaponics system doing well so think this might be a good idea also. Thanks in advance.

Greenhorn,
Just read through the posts on here they are very informative. Its like anything else once you get the hang of it your on the way! There is a seed source on the homepage also try posting an ad on craigslist for grain, or your local grain mills. We have found barley, black oil sunflower seeds aka BOSS, a few of the easiest less complicated grains to sprout. Wheat is the cheapest and most readily available but is more prone to mold issues,
