I've been doing fodder for over a year now.. I have the home built system in an enclosed and insulated building.. It stays about 65 degrees. The only thing I don't control is the humidity. The fodder comes out pretty good but I've noticed that it doesn't grow consistently.. at the end of the tray where the water feeds the tray it grows good, nice root bed, but at the other end, where the water leaves the tray, it doesn't sprout as good, basically no root bed just seeds and some sprouts.. It doesn't matter which tray, the first or last, it does the same thing.. I've tried decreasing the cycle time thinking it was sitting in water too long but it didn't help.. I use fresh well water with a filter each cycle that drips down 5 trays then leaves the building.. I also have a timer that I set for water every 6 hours. I've changed it to 8 hours and didn't help.. I also have lights that come on and off every 12 hours.. any ideas?

Have you tried rotating the tray every day?

a thing I noticed: if there are any " deadpools" or water at the bottom that isn't able to drain out of your tray after watering, the water seem to prevent the seeds from sprouting properly.
